An experience of leading the first sadhana

Have done it! Led my first morning Sadhana. Japji Sahib recitation followed by nabhi kriya and the mantra repetition. I never thought I would want to lead or teach a yoga session but I found the experience quite enjoyable. I am fussy about the music so it had to be thought through to ensure rythmic melody with the exercises and singing melody for the rest of the sadhana. Leading the sessions gives you incredible stamina that you previously did not think possible. My initial thought is – let me at it again.

I hated nabhi kriya when I started, now I rate it as one of my favourites. I think I will try my hand at some of the others and see how they go. I am doing the Ten Bodies one now. Not for 40 days but certainly for a few to see how I become accustomed to it. I find doing the breath of fire the hardest at the moment and the life nerve stretch exercise also… well stretches me. I simply cant catch my toes and feel envious of those who can. My agility is much better than it used to be but nearly not what I would like it to be so more work to be done there.

What I do know is that doing a kriya with some meditation first thing in the morning helps kick start my day like nothing else.

Quote of the day: My appointment with the psychic was cancelled due to un-forseen circumstances.
